What Is Honour in God’s Kingdom?


Honour goes beyond respect. Biblically, honour means to value, esteem, and treat people and God with reverence. It reflects humility, obedience, and gratitude.


“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” — Proverbs 3:9

Honour begins with God and flows outward to parents, leaders, and others.

God places honour at the center of relationships because it reflects the heart. Dishonour often reveals pride, while honour shows maturity and spiritual understanding.
